Video: Unique Supercar Ford GT With Body Number 02 Is On Sale

At the auction RM Sotheby's put up an unusual supercar Ford GT 2004 release. The car with body number 02 is the second of the first nine first-generation production GTs to be sold to Ford employees and their families. For 16 years since its release, the supercar has covered only 402 kilometers.

-
This car was bought by Ford board member Michael Dingman at a charity auction in August 2003. In 2004, it was delivered to the owner. The car with chassis number 01 is most likely in the Ford collection, making the ad one of the most valuable Ford GTs available for purchase.
- Behind the seats is a 5.4-liter V8 delivering 550 horsepower and 680 Nm, mated to a six-speed manual. The package includes stripes on a black body, a McIntosh audiophile audio system, BBS alloy wheels.
- During its life, the supercar has changed three owners. It is known that in 2012 this car was already sold for 242 thousand dollars (18.4 million rubles at today's exchange rate). Now RM Sotheby’s is expected to bail out from 500 to 600 thousand dollars (38-45 million rubles). The auction will take place on November 19.
- A total of 4038 copies of the Ford GT were produced from 2004 to 2006. The supercar's top speed is electronically limited to 330 kilometers per hour. Famous American TV presenter Jay Leno or British showman Jeremy Clarkson have cars of this model.
