Video: Hundreds Of New Mazda Cars Have Accumulated In Vladivostok: They Do Not Have Time To Take Out
Cars assembled at the Mazda – Sollers plant in Vladivostok cannot go to car dealerships in other regions. According to the portal vl.ru, there are not enough railway cars for their transportation.
Finished cars are placed at sites near the Primorskoye Koltso tourism and recreation cluster. Now, according to the publication, there are already several hundred. These are Mazda6 sedans, as well as CX-5 and CX-9 crossovers, which are localized in Russia.
- The accumulation of cars is caused by the planned increase in production volumes. The logistics did not have time to adapt to them, and there are not enough railway cars for the Far Eastern Mazdas. Therefore, now the finished products are taken by auto transporters to a free site.
- Last month, the Russian car market, according to the AEB, showed a record growth for recent months. The demand for new cars increased by 7%. For some brands and models, there is a significant shortage. The factories that have stood for several months due to the pandemic are now unable to cover the emerging demand, despite the increase in prices for new cars, which caused a natural decrease in purchasing power.
By the end of the year, the production of the MazdCX-30 compact crossover will be localized at the Mazda-Sollers plant in Vladivostok. OTTS for the car has already been received, and the Russian assembly is spelled out in the document. Prices and configurations have not yet been announced, but the car is certified in Russia with a single engine - a two-liter atmospheric "four" with a capacity of 150 horsepower. Transmissions - 6-speed "mechanics" or "automatic", drive - front or full.
