Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo Station Wagon: First Photos Without Camouflage

Photo spies managed to catch one of the latest pre-production prototypes of the new Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo cross-station wagon. According to the publication Motor1, which published the photos, the station wagon captured on tests in Germany has 99% serial appearance.

• The future novelty differs from the Taikan not only in the body type with a sloping roofline and extended rear fenders. The station wagon received an original designed front bumper with different air intakes and LED inserts, another rear bumper with a diffuser and roof rails. In addition, the Cross Turismo has increased ground clearance, but this may be due to the presence of air suspension.
• Changes in the interior architecture are expected to be significantly less, and the platform and power plants of the station wagon will be completely borrowed from the electric first-born Porsche. Thus, the Taycan Cross Turismo will receive motors from 408 to 761 hp. and will be able to accelerate to 100 km / h in a time from 5.4 to 2.8 seconds.
• The range of a regular Porsche Taycan is between 380 and 450 km, but the publication suggests that the Cross Turismo will receive improved batteries with a larger capacity, and therefore an increased range.
• The premiere of the new modification of Taikan should take place before the end of this year. And in the next Porsche is going to show an electric version of the Macan crossover: for its creation, the same platform is used as that of the Taikan.
