Auto.ru analysts have studied the price lists of manufacturers and found out how the recommended retail prices for cars have changed in October 2020 compared to September. By the end of the month, 30 brands of cars rose in price.

Among the models maximum growth recorded behind quite rare in Russia BMW M2: cars with "mechanics" added in price from 5 to 7.5% (on average 410,000 rubles), with "robots" - from 8.9 to 12.5%, or by 690,000 rubles. Also, a sharp jump in prices was noted for the Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, which became more expensive by 8.5% or RUB 400,000: its minimum price is now RUB 4,790,000.

In absolute terms, the all-wheel-drive extended BMW 7 Series with a three-liter diesel engine added the most in value: plus 850,000 rubles, 8.4%. A similar “seven”, but with a gasoline engine, went up in price by 640,000 rubles, 6.5%. The price tag for the BMW 5 Series M550 xDrive (up 8.9%) and M550 xDrive M Special (up 7.5%) has skyrocketed by 590,000 rubles.

In addition, other premium cars began to cost significantly more. Most of the BMW models remained outside the rating, adding from 3.2 to 4.4% and Mercedes-Benz, which massively rose in price for the second month in a row: in October, prices rose by 2.8–3.7%.

Most Lad models in various modifications have become more expensive by 10,000 - 16,000 rubles, an average of 1.5%. The price on Vesta has grown stronger than others: by 14,000 - 16,000 rubles (an average of 1.7%). Grant added 8,000 - 14,000 rubles in price (plus 1.7%).

Some models have become more affordable … Geely GS fell in price the most: in different trim levels, the model dropped from 130,000 to 200,000 rubles (from 8.7 to 15.4%). The prices for Mini Countryman with a 1.5-liter engine and a 7-speed automatic transmission (187,000 ₽, 9.1%), Cadillac XT6 (150,000 ₽, 3.3%), Jeep Compass in the complete set have also decreased. Trailhawk with 175-horsepower engine (130,000 ₽, 8.7%), some versions of the Audi A6 (64,000 - 81,000 ₽, 2%), 2-liter Lexus ES in the Comfort version (59,000 ₽, 2.3%) and 2 versions of ToyotRAV4 (15,000 ₽, 0.6%).

Price lists were revised by 30 car brands - cars rose in price by an average of 1.2%. BMW, Changan and Mercedes-Benz are among the top ten brands that rose the most in prices for the second month in a row. The prices for cars of another 14 companies remained unchanged, and cars of four brands even fell in price by an average of 0.3%: Audi (-0.1%), Cadillac (-0.3%), Mini (-0.3%) and Geely (-0.6%).
