The Russian Post said that abandoned Mercedes-Benz postal vans discovered a few days ago in a parking lot in Moscow will be sold out. Reported by the agency "Moscow". According to him, the average mileage of departmental cars is 505 thousand kilometers, and they have been accumulating in the parking lot for more than one year.
In November, the department will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the vehicles that were used to deliver the parcels. Cars that are deemed unsuitable for further operation will be disposed of, and the remaining department is going to sell off at open auction sites. These vans and trucks are bought mainly for restoration.
- In total, according to the "Post of Russia", 103 cars of different brands are stored in the now famous parking lot. They were released 10 to 12 years ago and are currently removed from the existing vehicle fleet. It is also noted that a real millionaire is working in one of the post offices of the Moscow region: the mileage of a Mercedes-Benz van has exceeded a million kilometers since 2005.
- A "cemetery of vans" in one of the capital's industrial zones was discovered by the authors of the ComDig Urban Exploration channel on Yandex.Zen. Later it became known that the closed parking lot is part of one of the Russian Post's motor depots.
