At the specialized exhibition Necropolis 2020, the Nizhny Novgorod company Samotlor-NN presented a hearse based on the cargo version of Lada Grant, which wears the Prima prefix. The cost is not disclosed, but it is clear that the novelty will become one of the most affordable funeral vehicles on the market. The most budgetary freight Grant is estimated at a million rubles.


- According to the LadLargus Kub group on the Vkontakte social network, they took Grant Prim's manufactured goods van as a basis. Samotlor-NN produces it in three versions: standard, long and maxi. The hearse was built from the latter. Internal dimensions of the compartment: 2500 x 1655 x 1590 mm.

Of the specific options, Grant's funeral received a black body paint, a pedestal for a coffin, places for accompanying persons and lighting. Heavily tinted glasses are additionally equipped with curtains. Air conditioning is also provided.
- A fairing is installed on the cab roof, which can also be ordered for other versions of Grants Prima. The same applies to the rear air suspension, which maintains the ground clearance under load and has a damping function. The power unit is standard: an eight-valve 1.6 with 87 hp. in conjunction with a 5-speed "mechanics".
- Last year, Siberian students came up with the idea of making a hearse with an autopilot out of Lada Kalina. The car must move at a speed of 5 km / h, keeping in a pedestrian funeral procession. In the implementation of the project, its authors asked to help NTI "Avtonet", "Yandex", KamAZ, MADI.
