An unusual Bond Bug tricycle was put up for auction at Artcurial, in which a 150-horsepower engine from a Yamaha motorcycle was installed. With it, the stroller can accelerate to a hundred in 3.5 seconds, while the Porsche 911 Carrer4S does it 0.1 seconds slower. On November 1, it will be auctioned off, and the expected cost ranges from 20 to 30 thousand euros (1.8 to 2.7 million rubles).

• The Bond Bug 700 ES from the ad was released in 1973 and has been restored. Neither the mileage of the trike, nor the name of the owner are known, but it is stated that the place of the old motor was taken by the YamahYZF-R1 motorcycle engine, with which the microcar is capable of developing more than 200 kilometers per hour. The transmission is a six-speed "mechanics", and the chassis has been reinforced.
• The ride is painted in orange, traditional for the model. In the cabin, the place of the standard tidy was taken by a panel from YamahYZF-R1. Despite the lack of doors in the traditional sense (instead of a rising dome), the Bond Bug has a heater for the interior.
• Bond Bug tricycles were produced in the UK from 1970 to 1974, and they were equipped with four-cylinder engines with a volume of 700 to 750 cubic centimeters. Power ranged from 29 to 31 horsepower. With such engines, the Bond Bug was capable of accelerating to 122 kilometers per hour.
• In just four years of production, 2,270 similar tricycles were assembled. The model has its own community of fans who are engaged in tuning it. So, last year, one of the owners installed a 300-horsepower engine from a Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle in the Bond Bug.
