The capital's Department of Transport announced an innovation in the field of automatic recording of violations. Mobile parkons will soon begin to control driving on the sides of the Moscow ring road. The penalty for this violation is 1,500 rubles.
- So far, only one parkon is watching the roadsides, but the city authorities promise to teach this violation to the rest of the complexes - if the innovation is recognized as effective.
- Driving on the side of the road is called dangerous not only for the offenders themselves, but also for those who, for one reason or another, stopped on the side of the road - for example, as a result of an accident or malfunction. Deptrans assures that the parkon will be able to collect evidence that the intruder was moving along the side of the road, and not just parked there. Mobile complexes will make a video recording of what is happening, which will avoid accidental or incorrect fines.
- Parkons are planned to be used where, for technical reasons, it is impossible to install stationary cameras.
-
Earlier it was reported that mobile fixation systems will train to notice up to 50 new types of violations, including those drivers who do not comply with the prescribed self-isolation regime. The corresponding article in the Administrative Code provides for fines of up to a million rubles.
