  • Only 32 drawers will be able to test the new ToyotMirai at either the GKN Proving Grounds in Tochigi or the Spa Nishiura Circuit in Aichi Prefecture. Toyot accepts applications for participation until October 30, the races themselves will take place on November 29 and December 6.

  • The company will build the serial version of the new Mirai based on the concept car presented back in 2019. The sedan will move to the new TNGA-N platform, change the drive from front to rear and increase in size. On the back sofa, the new items will fit three, while the previous generation Mirai was officially considered a four-seater. In addition, the model will have a radically redesigned design.
  • The sedan is promised a 30% increased power reserve - this was achieved by increasing the volume of three hydrogen tanks. However, it is still unknown which engine the new Mirai will receive. Obviously, these details will be revealed in December. The previous generation was equipped with an electric motor with a return of 154 hp.
  • The concern plans to sell the hydrogen sedan not only in Japan, but also in the USA and European countries. However, when exactly Mirai will get to foreign markets is also still unknown.
