The Russian representative office of the Daimler concern has announced the recall of the commercial model Mercedes-Benz Vito. In total, 204 minibuses were affected by the campaign, Rosstandart informs on Monday.

• Defective vehicles were sold by dealers between August 2019 and February 2020. They are fitted with front bumpers that do not meet legal requirements for pedestrian protection. Servicemen will supply the necessary reinforced cladding in the lower part of the bumper free of charge for the owners.
• Owners of Mercedes Vito can wait for a letter or a call from a dealer or check the car for a recall campaign on their own at Automotive.ru. The list of VIN codes of recalled vehicles is also attached to the Rosstandart message.

• The number of Mercedes service shares in Russia is approaching two dozen since the beginning of 2020. In September, the company sent 500 AMG C-Class cars, AMG GT supercars and GLC crossovers for repairs. They found a problem with the software in the stabilization system.
