New Great Wall Pickup Truck For Russia: Price Disclosed

Great Wall has officially returned to the Russian market: the specifications of the Wingle 7 pickup have been announced, which will appear in Haval dealerships in two to three weeks. The pickup will be sold at a price of 1,749,000 rubles.

• The Great Wall Wingle 7 will go on sale in a version with a two-row five-seater cab and an uncontested two-liter diesel engine. It develops a 143 hp engine, and it will be assisted by a six-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system. To enhance the off-road performance of the Wingle 7, the Borg Warner transfer case with a downshift and a forced locking of the rear differential are designed.

• The length of the pickup, according to the "Chinese Cars", is 5395 mm, width - 1800 mm, height - 1760 mm with a wheelbase of 3350 mm. Loading platform dimensions: 1680 mm in length and 1460 mm in width with a side height of 480 mm. The length and width of the UAZ Pickup cargo compartment are 1375x1265 mm, while the base Ulyanovsk pickup with a 150-horsepower gasoline engine will have to pay 949,000 rubles, and the top-end equipment is estimated at 1,365,000 rubles.
• We will sell Wingle 7 in the only Comfort configuration. It includes 16-inch wheels, LED daytime running lights, leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel, media system, cruise control.
• The pickup will also be equipped with a reinforced anti-corrosion coating on the bottom, anti-slip dusting inside the cargo compartment with anti-vandal resistance and protective coatings inside the body.
• It is officially announced that the Wingle 7 will be only the first model of the Great Wall Motors brand in our country. How exactly the line will develop is not yet specified, but earlier the more modern Pao model on the chassis of the Haval H9 SUV was called a candidate for the role of the second Great Wall pickup truck for Russia.

• About ten years ago, the Great Wall model line in Russia consisted of several crossovers, SUVs and a Wingle pickup from one of the previous generations, and some of the models were assembled domestically. In 2015, for financial reasons, supplies to Russia of both finished cars and car sets were stopped.
