The organizers of the Subiefest festival and the American division of the brand announced that they have assembled the longest convoy of Subaru cars on the planet. The previous record set by the Russians lasted 5 years, but the Americans improved it threefold.

-
The festival this year, instead of a personal meeting due to coronavirus restrictions, was held in a "cruise" format: the congress participants lined up in a giant column. A total of 1,751 cars took part in the parade.
- The record was recorded by the Guinness Book. The previous achievement was established by Russian fans of the brand in 2015, but they managed to collect only 549 cars.
- There was a fee to register to participate in the festival, but the organizers promise to donate all proceeds to the charity Feeding Americ, which supplies food to those in need. The money donated by subarists will be enough for 500 thousand free meals.
- Earlier it became known that during the festival, Subaru showed a camouflaged prototype of the BRZ coupe of the new generation. The new sports car will debut this fall.
