Chinese portal AutoHome has published new spy photos of the Audi Q5 pre-production crossover in the back of a cross-coupe. This time the model was completely devoid of camouflage camouflage. The premiere of new items will take place at the Beijing Auto Show, starting on September 26.

• On the Chinese market, the novelty, built on an elongated Q5 platform, will be released under the name Q5L Sportback - modeled on the more compact Q3 Sportback cross-coupe. Judging by the photo, the SUV will differ from the European modification not only in the body type and wheelbase dimensions, but also in the design of the front end.
• The prototype, captured in the photos, will receive a different radiator grill, original front bumper and headlights from the Q5. The rear of the cross-coupe with a more sloping roofline has got different lights and a built-in spoiler.
• In China, the Audi Q5L Sportback is expected to be sold in 40 TFSI and 45 TFSI versions with two-liter turbo engines of 190 and 252 hp. respectively. The basic equipment of the cross-coupe will also include a seven-speed "robot" and an all-wheel drive system. The new product will compete with the BMW X4 and Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe.
• Audi is testing a coupe-like modification of the Q5 for the European market, but as far as can be understood from the photographs of camouflaged prototypes, the design of the front of the cross-coupe will not differ from the appearance of the restyled Q5 in a traditional body.
