Jeep Announces Hybrid Wrangler

Jeep has published a video teaser announcing the premiere of yet another version of the Wrangler SUV. This time a hybrid. The video appeared a day after the premiere of the most powerful modification of the Wrangler Rubicon 392.

• “It's so quiet that it won't even wake up a sleeping horse,” reads the slogan on the video. The video demonstrates a 5-door SUV while driving on one electricity. In spite of the recently released competitor Bronco, the future hybrid is called not only super economical, but also very friendly to nature due to its quiet movement.
• The video with the hybrid version of the Wrangler was first shown six months ago, but so far there is no data on its technical characteristics or on the date of its release on the market.
• A prototype hybrid Wrangler called the Wrangler 4XE was unveiled at the CES Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year. The concept car was powered by a 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine and an electric motor. On electric traction, he could travel up to 50 kilometers.
