Chinese Brand Enovate Has Released A New Crossover. It Was Invented By An Ex-Porsche Designer

The Chinese company Enovate is preparing to launch its second crossover, called ME5, in the Chinese market in the second quarter. His photographs were posted on the CarNewsChin Facebook community. The car will have two versions: purely electric and with an internal combustion engine - for charging the battery on the go.

• Dimensions of new items: 4580 mm in length, 1915 mm in width and 1635 mm in height. The wheelbase of the model is 2750 mm. The look of the crossover was created by Hakan Sarakoglu, who previously worked for Porsche and Chery. The front of the car flaunts the two-story optics that have come into fashion, the back - trend lights, narrow and visually combined into one.
• The Enovate ME5 uses one 204 hp electric motor. It can work alone, or you can order a version with an internal combustion engine. It does not spin the wheels, but acts like a range-extender - charges the battery on the fly. Therefore, its volume and power are modest: 1.5 liters and 98 hp. Other characteristics of the car have not yet been disclosed.
• The brand already has a senior electric crossover Enovate ME7, the MES sedan is preparing for the release. The brand belongs to the company Dearcc, which also produces cars under its own name. But in Russia they are unknown. Dearcc launched in 2016, Enovate in 2018.

• Earlier, the Chinese brand Roewe, owned by the SAIC corporation, presented the iMax8 minivan in an art version. The author of the design was the Chinese artist and architect Wang Kaifang. He not only replaced the usual chrome trim with gold, but also came up with a different design for the wheels and grille. They are in their own way in harmony with the catchy color scheme of the car.
