Ford took the four-cylinder Mustang off the European market. The EcoBoost version disappeared from the brand's websites in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Great Britain and others - now only cars with V8 are available there. At the same time Mustang with "turbo four" is still offered in the USA.

- At first, the Autocar edition drew attention to the fact that the model with a junior engine is no longer offered in the UK. Ford explained that the sales share of the sports car with the "four" was only 15% since its launch in 2015.
-
Carscoops later received confirmation from a representative of the European division of the brand, who clarified that the Mustang EcoBoost was withdrawn from sale throughout Europe at the end of 2020. The North American office did not answer the question about the future of the four-cylinder model, but said that it entered the 2021 model range and remains in demand in the market.
- The younger Mustang of the sixth generation is equipped with a 2.3-liter engine. In the version for the European market, the engine developed 290 hp (in the US, the output is 310-330 hp). The older model is equipped with a 450-horsepower V8 (460 hp in the North American market). Its cost, for example, in Germany, starts at 49.3 thousand euros (almost 4.4 million rubles).
- At the end of 2019, the Mustang family, consisting of a coupe and a convertible in various modifications, was replenished with the Mustang Mach-E electric crossover. It is offered in rear- and all-wheel drive versions, the top-end version develops 486 hp. and 860 Nm of torque.
