The Bugatti Brand Took Up The Creation Of A Hypercar Worth 715 Million Rubles

Bugatti has announced the start of assembly of a pre-production prototype based on the Centodieci concept, first shown back in August 2019. All 10 planned copies of the ultra-expensive hypercar model were sold out within a few hours after the premiere, but deliveries will not begin until 2022.

• The engineers preparing the Centodieci for road access had to solve many technical problems even during the prototyping process. For example, the aerodynamics of the spectacular body and some of its design elements were reworked. The cooling system of the eight-liter W16 was rethinked - and for the most part in virtual environments. It took a year and a half to design and simulate.
• The company is just planning to switch to subject testing. In the coming months, the prepared version of the body will be blown in a wind tunnel, and the pre-production chassis will be sent for dynamic tests.
• The Bugatti Centodieci has become a kind of tribute and an attempt at a modern interpretation of the appearance of the famous Bugatti EB 110. The brand's heritage should be referred to, for example, new optics, a compact radiator grille, side air intakes with five holes and generally more angular than the donor Chiron style design.
• The improvements were not limited to one appearance. The engine output was raised to 1600 hp. It is expected that the production Centodieci will be able to accelerate to 100 km / h in 2.4 seconds, while the top speed will be fixed at 380 km / h.

• Bugatti intends to assemble only 10 examples of the hypercar, and each of them already has an owner. The name of one of them is known - this is the football player Cristiano Ronaldo. The officially announced starting price of each car was 8 million euros (more than 715 million rubles). And this is not the most expensive modern Bugatti: this title belongs to the one-of-a-kind LVoiture Noire, whose price including taxes is only slightly below 17 million euros.
