Updated Porsche Cayenne In A "tricky" Disguise: Spy Photos

Porsche has brought a restyled version of the Cayenne crossover for tests: a photo of the prototype is published by Carscoops. The pictures show the car without visible camouflage, but the publication claims that Porsche is now using more cunning camouflage methods.

• For example, the head optics of the prototype are surrounded by stickers made of light film to visually enlarge them. According to the publication, this suggests that in fact it will become smaller. The filling of the Cayenne headlights resembles the filling of the head optics of the Porsche Taycan.
• The taillights are completely hidden under false covers, and the number plate appears to have moved from the tailgate to the bumper. Its place can be taken by a large inscription with the name of the model.
• It is not yet possible to determine how the silhouette of the body will change (and whether it will change). According to some assumptions, the fifth door may be redesigned for the crossover to make the profile a little more dynamic. And in the interior, according to the publication, there will be some components from the Porsche 911 - for example, a more compact gearshift joystick.
• Large-scale changes in the SUV's engine range are not expected, although the existing units may undergo some modifications in order to improve efficiency.

• Porsche plans to present the updated Cayenne in the current year or in 2022. The current crossover has been produced since 2017, in Russia it costs at least 5,630,000 rubles. The Russian Cayenne received the last modifications in October last year: then the hybrid modifications of the crossover acquired more capacious batteries.
