Mexican artists Maria and Jacobo Angeles, with the support of Daimler, turned the Mercedes-Benz G-Class into a vibrant art object. It was painted in the style of ancient Mexican culture, writes Autoevolution.

In different parts, the brutal SUV is painted with different patterns. The image was invented based on the ornaments of the Zapotec civilization, which was located on the site of the modern Mexican state of Oaxaca.
- To make the project even more popular, the German concern enlisted the support of Enrique Olvera, a famous Mexican chef and restaurant manager in Mexico City and New York, as well as in the state of Oaxaca. The latter offers gourmets the opportunity to experience traditional Zapotec culture.
- It is not the first time in the new generation that Gelendvagen becomes an art object. In September, Mercedes chief designer Gorden Wagener and the artistic director of Louis Vuitton menswear Virgil Abloh unveiled a very strange sports car - based on the frame G-class. And in December, Mercedes-Benz itself showed Gelik in livery "for a New Year's gift."
