
Video: Crossover Toyota Harrier Received A Package Of Improvements From Wald

The Japanese studio Wald International has presented an external tuning program for the new generation ToyotHarrier crossover, which is sold in the country's domestic market.


- In June, an aggressive styling kit for the Harrier from the TRD (ToyotRacing Develpoment) division appeared in Japan. Now another famous atelier presented its less sporty version.

A special feature of the styling kit from Wald International is the additional chrome accents. They are adorned with an elongated front splitter, a radiator grille, door sills and a new rear bumper with a stepped arrangement of oval exhaust pipes - as on a charged Lexus IS F sedan. Chrome wheels will be offered for a fee. The cost of the body kit, as well as the 21-inch Wald genuine line F-001 multi-spoke wheels, has not yet been announced.
- The modern ToyotHarrier crossover with the in-house designation XU80 debuted in April 2020. It is based on the GA-K modular platform, on which the Camry sedan and the latest generation RAV4 SUV are built.
- The powertrains are the same as those of the domestic Japanese RAV4. It is a naturally aspirated 2.0 l (171 hp) engine paired with a Direct Shift CVT and a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engine with 178 hp. combined with a 120-horsepower electric motor and variator. An optional 54 hp electric motor is available for the latter, which drives the rear wheels.
