Video: The Designer Has Recreated The Successor To The Legendary Supercar Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren
Artist Georgy Bozhkov, who works in the Bulgarian design studio Recom Blacksmith, presented what a Mercedes-Benz SLR-AMG Vision Concept supercar would look like, reviving the traditions of the famous Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.
Taking as a basis the look of the original coupe and its characteristic proportions with a long bonnet and a short rear end, Bozhkov created a striking and memorable image, unmistakably identifiable as the SLR McLaren.
- The front end of the concept inherits the design of the nose of a Formula 1 car. At the same time, motives borrowed from the Mercedes-AMG GT supercar are read in the car - especially in the design of the rear of the body.
- The original Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is a joint development of Daimler and McLaren Automotive, which assembled the car. From 2003 to 2010, 2,157 copies were produced with coupe and roadster bodies. Engine - compressor V8 with a volume of 5.5 liters, developing 625 hp. and 780 Nm. The supercar accelerates to 100 km / h in 3.8 seconds, to 200 km / h in 10.6 seconds, and its top speed is 335 km / h.
